At the 28th anniversary gala of the Estonian Association of Business and Professional Women, Irja Lutsar was named Woman of the Year 2020, and Marion Teder, founder of the home and personal care services platform CareMate, was awarded the title of Young Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
“I have personally seen, as a woman, the many challenges that women face and the responsibilities placed on their shoulders – expectations to care for the sick, the weak, and those in need. I have experienced and observed this, and I wanted to make things easier for women and create a revolution in caregiving,” she says, adding that CareMate is soon launching a new care platform. “Receiving this title in itself signifies that I am fulfilling the mission we set for CareMate – to provide support and a helping hand to families with caregiving responsibilities, allowing everyone to realize their full potential.”
